I could not have done it without you. I am so blessed to have had the support of so many of you throughout the process and I want to thank all of you for your prayers, your letters, your contributions, your hard work and your votes. I am humbled by the trust you have placed in me and, if elected, I vow to remain true to the law and to the people of Brazoria County.
I also want to congratulate Trey Picard and Perry Stevens for their well-run campaigns and thank them for their continued service to the people of Brazoria County.
We've come a long way, but it's not over yet. I ask for your continued support through the General Election on November 2nd.
Sincerely,

Support for Terri Tipton Holder
“I have had the opportunity to know many District Judges. Brazoria County would be well served to have Terri Tipton Holder as a District Judge. As a Texas Ranger might say, conveying the highest of compliments, “she will do to ride the river with.”
Maurice Cook
Retired Chief, Texas Rangers
"I am always pleased when Terri prosecutes one of our cases. I know she will be concerned and prepared and she won't get kicked around in the courtroom!"
Gary Stroud
Chief, Sweeny Police Department
Sweeny,Texas
We are very fortunate to have good candidates run in local elections. I always have a difficult time trying to identify the very best candidate in any race. This is especially true when it comes to judges.
With this in mind, I would like to encourage everyone to vote for Terri Tipton Holder who is running for 149th District Court Judge. I was fortunate to serve with Holder on the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee for several years. She is very fair and honest in her working with people.
Not only is she qualified, she is a genuinely nice person.
Holder currently is a prosecuting attorney. Please join with me in voting for Holder. She has the integrity, leadership and experience to be a great judge for Brazoria County.
W.B. Oelfke,
Lake Jackson
“Terri shows integrity in looking for the truth. She has a great knowledge of the law and how to be fair to all.”
Henrietta Gonzalez, Retired Chief of Police
City of Freeport, Texas
“Terri Tipton Holder has over 2 decades of law experience. I intend on voting for the candidate who not only possesses high moral character, but has solid principals and a proven track record.”
Jimmy R. Jones, Retired Chief Investigator,
Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office
"If I could describe Terri in two words, those words would be justice and compassion. Not two words that typically 'go together.' But to me, that is what makes her so effective. Terri fights for justice 'for all;' not just for those that can afford it or deserve it. And I've never seen anyone in the legal field with such compassion for all children...for all people. I've had the privilege of partnering with Terri teaching 'For Kids' Sake,' and I've also been in the courtroom with her. It doesn't matter where you see Terri, she is the same. There is no pretense."

"I have personally known Terri Tipton Holder for over 27 years. She is a bright, caring and thorough attorney. Through her years of dedication and service, she has proven herself to be a very valuable asset to the judicial system and an overall stellar member of the Brazoria County community. She is also a trusted friend.
In early 2003, my son was among the US Marines crossing through Iraq during the initial invasion of Baghdad. On the morning of March 24th I received a telephone call saying that he had been shot and was being airlifted for immediate surgery. Along with great concerns for my son, my next apprehension was making certain that my mother and elderly grandmother in Angleton be notified of the situation. As I sat on the floor of my home in Houston unable to even stand I knew that telling them over the telephone was not a viable option; they should hear this news in person. It would need to be soon as the television networks were beginning to break the story. I also knew that it would have to come from a very calm, supportive, trusted person that had the ability to deliver this news with the reassurance and comfort they would need. Although I have a range of family and friends in the area I immediately thought of Terri Holder, someone they both knew and relied upon extensively. Terri, a litigator for the District Attorney’s office, was in a court session that morning but somehow managed to break away and rush to my mother’s home to speak to them. To this day I do not know exactly what she said or how she said it, but I do know that it was right and that I had made the right choice in her. Truly, at a time that I literally could not stand on my own Terri Holder gave me her unwavering support. Today, in the upcoming election for Brazoria County Judge I enthusiastically give her mine."
